The west Eugene neighborhood is located in western Eugene between Churchill and Bethel Danebo. It is a large neighborhood and is primarily an industrial area. The population is 777 which represents 0.5% of the population of the Eugene area. It is a relatively younger area of town, and for those looking for lower priced housing, it is a great area. Like the Churchill and Bethel areas, it is close to Fern Ridge Reservoir where there is swimming, camping and boating. Beltline runs through west Eugene, making it easy to get to other parts of Eugene and Springfield. West Eugene is part of both the 4j and Bethel school districts and students usually attend Churchill or Willamette High Schools. Public transportation in west Eugene is centered at the Seneca Station which connects west Eugene to all the other areas of town.
