Laurel Hill
Laurel Hill is on the east side of Eugene. Laurel Hill has a population of 1,410 representing 0.9% of the population of the Eugene area. The age groups with the largest number of residents are 20-24 and 50-54. It is near the University of Oregon, and Lane Community College, making it a popular area for student housing. This neiighborhood is near several beautiful parks including Hendricks Park and University Park. It is also very close to many outdoor recreation areas outside of Eugene such as Spencer's Butte and Ridgeline Park. Furthermore, Laurel Hill is clos to the Willamette River and the bike path the runs beside the river. This makes it easy for residents to ride a bike or walk to other areas of Eugene, or simply hang out by the river.
