Churchill Neighborhoods are located in Southwest Eugene. The neighborhoods are almost exclusively residential, with the exception of a small strip of commercial establishments along the north side of the district on 11th Avenue. The Churchill neighborhoods are some of the closest areas of Eugene to Fern Ridge Reservoir. Fern Ridge offers swimming, boating, fishing and camping, all of which is only about 15 minutes from the Churchill area. The southern part of the Churchill area is part of the South Hills, and real estate in this area often has excellent views of the whole Eugene area. Fern Ridge Bike Path runs through the Churchill area and makes traveling to one of the various parks in the area very convenient. Churchill neighborhoods are part of the 4j school district and are serviced by Westmoreland and McCornick Elementary Schools, Kennedy Middle School and Churchill High School.

Neighborhoods in the Churchill area are just a short drive from the wetlands area, in which there are several wildlife observation areas. Also there are several wineries not far from the Churchill area.
